October 4-5 Featured Matches Schedule

Platinums and Diamonds

As I have already mentioned in past posts, Diamond and Platinum skill tiers are now being treated as interchangeable and occupy the same slot. From now on, when giving the abbreviation for the skill tiers in the matches (ex: GSSBB stands for a match with a Gold, 2 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes), the Diamond/Platinum slot will be represented by an H, for high tier.

Sunday’s Games

Some of you probably noticed that the games on Sunday, October 5, for Freljord vs Ionia that the skill tier match ups are very similar throughout all 3 games, and several players are playing in all of the games. This was caused by very few sign ups for those factions this weekend (Freljord had the fewest, but Ionia still had very limited sign ups). With those limited sign ups, the only way to make it playable was to keep using the same skill tiers and players (and even then there are some open slots that have yet to be filled).

Featured Matches rarely ever occur without a faction needing a sub at some point, so if you want to make sure your faction doesn’t have to face problems filling their team (which no one wants to see), be sure to be online and in the factions chat to help fill any slots that end up empty. Also, the best way to help your faction avoid the need of filling slots in the future is to sign up and fight for your faction’s ultimate victory on the weekends.
