You may be needed for crucial matches on Thursday evening, beginning at 6 Pacific. It would be a set of three matches, spaced an hour apart. (We’ll be flexible on timing due to the short notice.)
Can the Freljord and the Shadow Isles play nice?
I don’t know. Ask Volibear about all the Ursine souls trapped in Thresh’s lantern.
We’re aiming to have the final round of island exploration events posted tonight. As you may recall, the Freljord and the Shadow Isles are “sharing” Krocylea. This might turn out to be a friendly cooperative prancing around the nexus, but there’s a very real chance that this could turn violent. If so, Bilgewater and Ionia could be drawn in as allies. (Presumably, it would be Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles versus Ionia and the Freljord, considering recent events, though in theory it might work out differently.) This is a good time to review League Politics 101: the League will scowl at such violence, but it would not be forbidden by the terms of the Nyrothian dispute, nor would the League itself intervene—they simply expect you to resolve it quickly and leave it on Krocylea.
Remember the Battle of Shurima? We had matches for that. This could be a chance to be part of Factions history.
Of course, there might not be a battle. If so, we’ll just hold regular shoutcasted matches for funsies.
Bilgewater and Ionia can come, too
If these factions end up fighting one another on Krocylea, we’ll hold a special set of three matches that will significantly influence the outcome. Summoners from Bilgewater and Ionia will be allowed to sub for their ally if they end up backing one side or the other. These matches will represent not matches on the Fields of Justice but battlefield combat.
Obviously, this is shorter notice than we’d like, so we want to give people a heads-up: plan on being around for these!
Ranks and rules
The default configuration for each side will be HGGSS. We may adjust that based on who signs up. (So if you’re Bronze or Unranked, feel free to add your name in.) The “H” refers to Plat and above; we collapse these tiers for Featured Match purposes.
Matches will be conducted per standard tournament rules, except as otherwise indicated. Generally speaking, if both teams agree to a change, we will allow it.

There will still be revisits and possibly some mainland stuff. But these will be the last of the (new) island explorations.
