We are currently running a three-week set of Featured Matches in which the “home” faction selects the Field of Justice on which the matches will be fought.
Last weekend, Piltover swept 3–0 on the Howling Abyss against both Noxus and Shurima. These victories allowed Piltover to continue construction of the Velocitronic Rail through Shurima, by which they aim to link Demacia to Bandle City. Combined with the Demacia–Piltover track built during the Hextech Revolution, this project will significantly expand Piltover’s commercial and military influence through southern Valoran.
This weekend, Shurima takes center stage. Discovering that Sivir and her associates have a very strong desire to get paid, Emperor Azir has ordered an assault on some of Zaun’s outlying mines. His objective is to seize control of enough territory and equipment to sell back to Zaunite megacorporations, as a means to secure compensation for their wrongful taking of Shurima’s ancestral lands. Noxus has deployed its legions to stop their advance. Saturday’s matches represent both the course of the battle and the actual League matches that arise out of the legal disputes raised by Zaunite legal counsel.
Summoner’s Rift
Shurima’s Summoners have selected to keep these matches on Summoner’s Rift. Sorry, Skarner: nobody likes the Crystal Scar.
Shurima Weekend
Shurima will be playing against Noxus on Saturday, July 18, and Piltover on Sunday, July 19. This week will have the standard bonus BoP value for the Featured Matches, as well as some lore stakes that will be announced as soon as Cupcake and I finish the details.
Outcome
(Highlight to reveal.)
Shurima went 3–0 on both days.

Dose this mean I dont have to go through with playing ranked games anymore?
Oh why doth thou put Noxus on a Saturday, when my calendar art booked solid by work. Oh sadness of sadness! The shadows of working are a-eclipsing my League life, and the shadow of my heart is growing.
And why Piltover on a Sunday, when I too, am plagued by the cruel realities of both real life obligations and sleep.
