Bandle City has won its first Factions victory in Arc IX: Divinity. A fuller arc completion post is forthcoming, after the rest of these posts are up. But I wanted to briefly note this to give Bandle City Summoners a heads up and direct them to the forum thread where the vote link is located.
The general community has already ranked the various scenario pitches. Once the Bandle City vote closes on the night of October 31, we’ll take the highest-ranked scenario that includes Bandle City’s chosen faction and make that the storyline for Arc IX.
I can hear the groans already, but it is possible that we’ll have to at least have a bit of a “Week 0” for Arc IX, just to give us time to figure out the arc structure and so on. I promise this won’t turn into a longer delay. But while I’m going to rather great lengths to keep to the October 31 date, I don’t want to be so fanatic in that regard that we end up with a fumbled arc launch.
I’m very much looking forward to this coming arc. I think Divinity was a significant improvement on Lines in the Sand, and I have reason to think that this upward trend will continue.
