Although most Factions matches are casual pick-up games, we do also host shoutcasted tournaments and featured matches.
Tournaments
Tournaments resolve pivotal moments in the storyline. Victory in a tournament awards the winning faction a large flat point boost and a new Champion, and also has a direct storyline impact. Tournaments are announced about two weeks in advance.

Featured Matches
Featured Matches are shoutcasted showcase matches for which Summoners sign up in advance.

Unsure if I’ve missed anything but what region is this for?
The sign-up page lists the currently active regions: NA, EUW, EUNE, and BR. I think OCE will be up soon.
For Tournaments and Featured Matches, we’re doing that on a case-by-case basis. They’re usually on NA. I have an email from Halfy indicating that EUW will also have some Featured Matches this weekend; I’ll post on that shortly.
Is there any way to view how many points a faction has, or results of any non-tournament matches played recently?
After work today, the first thing on my list is posting up the new Balance of Power doc. Normally, in Factions, there’s a live-updating scoreboard.
