Champion lists for each faction: Faction Rosters
versus
We will be holding some shoutcasted Featured Matches on Saturday, June 14, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Pacific (3:30 Eastern). These Featured Matches are worth twice the base point value of an ordinary Factions match. The winner of this best-of-three set will have a random chance to unlock a new Champion for their roster.
Today, Demacia will battle Zaun, as part of the Hextech Revolution storyline.
These matches will take place on the Howling Abyss.
Schedule
Here is the schedule, with start times and lineups. Slots listed as OPEN will be filled from the audience. If you want to fill one of these spots, show up in the Factions chat at matchtime and be ready!
Each team has slots for Summoners of particular ranks. Rank is defined as the higher of S3 and S4 solo queue SR rank. We use end-of-season rank. Rank slots can be “underfilled”, but never exceeded: for example, you can put a Gold in a Plat or Diamond slot, but you can’t put a Diamond in a Gold slot.

And if you haven’t already, you can sign up for one of the four factions participating in the current storyline.

Rules
This is an abbreviated version of the tournament rules.
Points. These matches have twice the base value of normal matches.
Disconnects. Normally, we remake Factions matches if there’s a d/c. This is problematic in a scheduled tournament. As a result, we handle it this way: each team has 5 minutes of pause time. Once that’s used up, the game plays on. Please check your connection before the match: if you d/c, you will likely throw the match for your faction.
Each team can, once per match, ask staff for a remake if a player disconnects within the first 5 minutes and doesn’t seem likely to come back.
Start times. Matches will begin no earlier than the posted times. If there are gaps still on the teams at the posted time, we’ll go to subs. 5 minutes after posted start time, we’ll open it up to the audience. Matches start as-is at 15 minutes past the posted start time. (If a faction is down at least two players relative to the other faction, the organizers may decide to simply declare a forfeit to avoid wasting time.)
Special Rules
Sanctions. Zaun has been sanctioned by the League for this set of matches. It will receive no prizes or points from them, and will suffer a 10-point penalty if Demacia wins the set. (Demacia can still lose points.) The sanctions were applied as punishment for an incident that occurred shortly before the tournament, when some of Viktor’s massive walking mechs went berserk and opened fire on a detachment of Piltover’s Special Shuriman Expeditioneers shortly before the tournament. The harshness of the sanctions, many believe, also trace back to a lingering feeling that Zaun was partially complicit in a recent catastrophe, when Void demons burst out of the depths of Zaun’s pyrikhos mines and began devouring everyone in sight. It took a combined force of the HexKorps, Demacian soldiers, and Piltover’s Special Shuriman Expeditioneers to destroy the fiends. Zaun blamed Piltover, and an investigation turned up evidence (which Piltover insists was planted) of illegal Piltovian experiments nearby which could have triggered the rift. Piltover was sanctioned, but many argued that Zaun also bore responsibility. Zaun refused to allow League inspectors to examine the mines, which are said to still be haunted, earning further ire from the Council.
Casualties. Several Champions were injured in the battle for Bandle City, and will be unavailable from June 8–14.
Pharmakon II. Zaun may roll a d8 before each match. On an 8, Zaun gains one ban for that match. (Raised from 6 on a d6 to 8 on a d8 versus Demacia, due to Demacia’s Cosmic Purity bonus.)
